The purpose of this worked solution is to review the directions and requirements of the vignette and then to implement a structural solution in conformance to the given information and constraints.  The solution provided is only one of several possible passing solutions that a candidate may derive from the given information.

This worked solution does not divulge test information in accordance with ARE guidelines, rather the only problem that is solved is the NCARB sample problem that is in the public domain and can be downloaded directly from NCARB's website .  As well, the passing solution that we derive is similar to that given in the NCARB study guide for Structural Systems.
