Mr. Fahey was accepted into the University of California’s accelerated degree program in architecture with more than 10 years previous experience in the design and construction of homes in northern California. In the 20 years since graduating, his portfolio has grown to include projects of increasing variety and complexity. Mr. Fahey’s design work reflects his abiding interest in discovering ways to knit together the particular virtues of a given site with the most appropriate materials and structural system and human needs to create an evocative and harmonious whole.
